Foxtail (कंगनी) Millet Pulao
Ingredients :
1. Foxtail Millet - 1.5 Cup (Kutum Ayurveda Foxtail Millet)
2. Carrot sliced - 02 pcs
3. Corn - 02 tbsp
4. Green Peas - 01 tbsp
5. Medium Sliced Onion - 01 pc.
6. Turmeric Powder - 1/3 tsp (Kutum Ayurveda's Himalayan/ Lakadong Turmeric Powder)
7. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp ( Kutum Ayurveda's Himalayan Yellow Chilli Powder)
8. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
9. Cinnamon Stick - 1-2 cm
10. Desi Ghee / Oil- 01 tbsp ( Kutum Ayurveda's A2 Desi Gir Cow Ghee)
11. Mustard Oil - 01tbsp
12. Water - 03 Cups
13. Salt - As Per Requirement
Cooking Instructions
1. Wash Foxtail millet thrice. Keep aside soaked millet for 60 min.
2. Now heat Oil in a Pressure Cooker or Pot add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick just sauté add onion, carrots, peas & corn
3. Add salt, turmeric and chilli powder mix well & add Foxtail Millet.
4. The millet should be cooked under constant stirring for 2 whistles or covered for 20 minutes on low heat.
5. When cool down open the lid Millet Pulao gets ready. Pour desi ghee mix well.
6. Garnish the dish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
